Who we are
This website is operated by Digiconomy Limited, which trades as Roadside Repairs (company number 11129824, registered in England and Wales). Our registered office is Howbery Business Park, Benson Lane, Wallingford, OX10 8BA and we work day to day from Office 156, Access Business Centre, Willoughby Road, Bracknell, RG12 8FB.
Digiconomy Limited is the data controller responsible for your personal information. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at hello@roadsiderepairs.co.uk or call 0800 123 4567.
Information we collect
We collect the following personal information:
- Information you give us. When you request a callback or send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number, postcode, the service you need and any details you choose to add. If you call or email us, we keep a record of that contact.
- Attribution information. When you submit the form we record the page you first arrived on and the site that referred you (for example a search engine), so we can understand how people find us. This is stored temporarily in your browser and only sent to us if you submit the form.
- Usage information. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymous statistics about how visitors use the site, such as the pages viewed, approximate location and device type. No analytics are collected until you accept.
- Server logs. Our web server automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, which we use to keep the site secure and working.
How and why we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- respond to your enquiry, give you a quote and arrange for a mechanic to carry out the work — this is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract;
- pass the details of your job to the vetted, insured mechanic in our network who will attend, so they can contact you and complete the work — on the basis of our legitimate interest in delivering the service you asked for;
- understand and improve how the website performs — on the basis of your consent (which you can withdraw at any time);
- keep the website and our business secure and prevent fraud or abuse — on the basis of our legitimate interests;
- meet our legal and accounting obligations — where we are required to by law.
Who we share it with
We share your information only where necessary:
- The mechanic assigned to your job from our network, so they can carry out the work.
- Service providers who act on our behalf, including Formspree (which processes and delivers our enquiry form), Google (Google Analytics) and our website hosting provider. These providers process data under our instructions.
- Authorities or advisers where we are required to share information by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
International transfers
Some of our providers, including Formspree and Google, are based in or store data in the United States. Where your information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the International Data Transfer Agreement to keep it protected.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and job records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Google Analytics data is retained according to our settings in that service, and server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information in certain circumstances;
- object to or ask us to restrict how we use your information;
- ask us to transfer your information to another provider; and
- withdraw your consent to analytics at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@roadsiderepairs.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how we have handled your data.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. For full details of what we use and how to control them, see our Cookie Policy.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
